Governance Overview

Bilu Huang Institute for Aging Research (BHIAR) is an independent nonprofit institute incorporated in Hong Kong SAR as a company limited by guarantee. The institute is committed to scientific integrity, institutional independence, responsible governance, and financial transparency.

BHIAR is governed by its Board of Directors and supported by a Scientific Advisory Board. Together, these bodies help ensure that the institute's activities remain aligned with its mission to advance first-principles aging biology and translational longevity science.

Legal Status

BHIAR is a registered non-profit independent research institute established in Hong Kong SAR, China. Its governing documents, including provisions on the Board of Directors, institutional governance structure, and membership framework, are available upon request and will be published here in due course.

As an independent nonprofit company limited by guarantee registered in Hong Kong SAR, BHIAR is committed to responsible financial stewardship and transparency.

The institute's financial statements are independently audited on an annual basis by ANSON CHAN & CO. CPAs.
